Step 1 Warming up
Look at the pictures and guess what’s the hobby?
Step 2 Consolidate new words
Look and say. The teacher shows the pictures of new words and let the students

学情分析:
本课内容贴近学生生活,学生有阅读兴趣,但缺乏阅读方面的技巧。
本课在签一单元听说活动的基础上进行阅读活动,并未后一单元的语言的综合运用打下了基础。课文一方面呈现David´hobbies介绍和评价的语言结构和词汇,另一方面也是学习和巩固简单句的基本句型的语言材料。但相当一部分学生缺乏丰富的语言基础和信息积累,所以对某些任务的完成有一定的难度。八年级学生通过新课程的学习实践,已具备了初步的自主、合作、探究的能力。
本人认为这堂阅读课是比较成功的,达到了预期的教育效果。本课的成功之处在于:
一、 首先在课前备课的时候,我能够通过对教材和教学对象的仔细分析,以学生的不同需要为备课指导与目的,做到了备教材,备学生。针对我们班的学情分析,将有关爱好的谜语放在课前,让学生从所熟悉的爱好谜语入手,消除学困生的学习屏障,激发他们的学习兴趣。
二、在单词教学中如何变单一为多样,变死板为生动? 我在教授单词的过程中十分注重单词的使用语境,(课前讲授) 如在教授单词的时候,我分别出示了几张图片,让学生通过对图片的直观感知,从第一印象开始就对他们有一个清晰而明确的认识。然后再通过"He is a
good cook, he has a lot of cookers."这样的例句加深学生对他们的理解和运用。在教学interest、activity、success等单词时,注重单词的词性变化。使学生依旧带薪,在学习新单词的同时,复习巩固已学单词,同时注重语境设计。
不足之处:如何把英语阅读教学引入到生活中,达到学以致用?中国
学生的英语学习现状是往往学习了几年,甚至是十几年的英语,还不能开口说英语,而只能纸上谈兵.我在教学中十分注重学生对文章的理解和运用,但在实际的操作中效果并不理想。
教材分析:
教材的地位和作用
本模块以娱乐为话题,主要谈论个人兴趣和爱好及其原因,表达喜欢和不喜欢,以及对各类爱好的归类选择和简单评价。课文各侧重娱乐的不同方面,材料真实,趣味性强,能引起学生浓厚的兴趣。并拓展学生的视野。教材在充分语言输出的基础上,给学生创造了充分运用语言、表达自己想法的空间。
通过本模块的学习,要求学生能够询问并表达个人的兴趣和爱好,通过对自己和他人爱好的介绍等活动来学习简单句的基本句型,重点学习have a look, tidy
up, as a result, come out等短语的用法。通过被本模块的学习,培养学生自主学习、反思性学习,了解国家间的差异,学会尊重他人并友好相处,培养跨文化交际意识。从全书来看,本模块承接下一模块对并列复合句的学习和运用,内容有层次的展开,学生容易接受。

下面我就本课作一些反思。
本课是一节读写课,重在培养学生阅读策略及写作技能。通过学习达到了自己的教学目的。
1在新课导入过程中,通过几幅图片让学生通过猜谜语(What´s the hobby?)的方式迅速回到本课话题——爱好。接着由复习材料自然过渡到导言,并且激发学生学习兴趣。
2 在阅读过程中通过查读、粗读、细读等方式,让学生初步感知了课文,完成了书中的Activity2&3习题。不仅节约课堂时间,并且还培养学生阅读技能。对于问题的回答,实际是属于深入阅读文章,并为精读每一段打下基础,做好铺垫。
3 在精读每一段过程中我觉得第三段中的复述方法是比较可取的,让学生在短时间内通过复述课文,且在熟练复述的基础上趁热打铁用间接引语来转述课文。但遗憾的是并没有让学生去做。
其他环节不一一多说,但我还是想在本课中出现的一些不足和遗憾说一下。如在词汇方面,由于本课的词汇量也算是不少,所以在集体备课时我们就商量在课前就教给了学生。我觉得这样做就是不如把词汇融入到一定的情景中去教授,那样学生印象深刻,对词汇的理解更加充分。
课标分析:
阅读教学是英语教学的重要一环,课程标准要求读的教学要培养和发展读的技能,在篇章中学习语言知识。因此,本课教学将通过阅读要求学生尽可能地获取关于爱好的大量信息,在丰富知识的同时提高阅读能力。
新课程标准还指出,使学生养成良好的学习习惯和形成有效的学习策略是英语课程的重要任务之一。本课学生在完成阅读任务的过程中,根据不同的阅读目的科学的选择阅读方法,快速获取信息。
