I. There be 结构
“There is (are) + 某物(某人)+ 某地(某时)”这样一种句型,大致相当于汉语“某地(某时)有某物(某人)”的说法。句子中的is (are) 和后面所跟的名词在数方面必须一致。

大多数形容词有三个等级:
1)原级,即原形,如big(大);
2)比较级,表示“更……一些”或“较……”的意思,如bigger(更大,比较大,大一些);
3)最高级,表示“最……”的意思,如biggest(最大)。
